In my previous post, I mentioned that hand movements were difficult to learn. Actually, this is only true for beginners like me. You will see the beauty of the hand movements with the choreographed steps in this video that I found on youtube. The steps are by Maggie Gallagher and the hand movements are created by my dancing instructor, Brian Ang. This video is taken during his advance students' class. (Imagine my surprise when I saw the familiar faces).
This song is called Jai Ho by Pussycat Dolls and I think is the soundtrack for Slumdog Millionaire. This song has some Indian elements to it and Brian has incorporated the hand movements to a T. Perfecto !!! Totally love this dance.
I hope to be able to dance like this in the near future but am not very optimistic. However, I am trying my best and enjoying every sweat filled minute of it ....
